Job Description
The Director of ISGAP-New York at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) is a key position responsible for the professional management of the New York activities, development, and professional work. This role plays a crucial part in supporting or initiating various aspects of ISGAP’s operations, including network project development, event organization, programming initiatives, fundraising events, internship program facilitation, etc. The Director of ISGAP-N.Y. will report directly to the Executive Director, and work closely with the Director of Operations, and the Chair of Global Affairs to ensure the effective functioning of the New York office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the New York office, ensuring a well-organized and professional work environment.
- Network Project Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and manage ISGAP’s network project, facilitating communication and coordination among relevant stakeholders.
- Meeting Organization: Work directly with the Executive Director, Chair of Global Affairs, and Director of Operations (and others per need) in organizing and facilitating meetings both in-person and virtual.
- Programming Initiatives: Plan and execute programming initiatives in New York, which may include seminars, symposiums, meetings, and fundraising events, in coordination with the core team. Assist with the development of other international programming initiatives.
- Production Support: Provide support for the production of the JBS-ISGAP HOUR series and other media-related activities.
- Internship Program: Play a key role in hosting and developing the internship program, working to ensure its success and growth.
- Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks related to ISGAP’s activities and initiatives as needed.
- Work to fulfil ISGAP’s mission in general and grow our New York City presence in particular.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, or a relevant field to ISGAP’s work and mission statement preferred (exceptional candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and additional relevant experience will be considered).
- Relevant work experience in mission-oriented management and execution, project coordination, or similar roles that demonstrate the required qualifications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail, especially with regard to institutional development – preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders (academia, donors, scholars, etc.).
- Residence in the New York City area is required.
