Job Description:
This position entails overseeing the staff running programs for Jewish not-for-profit board members and professionals, as well as for college and graduate level students involved in programs both in the United States and Israel. The position will also involve reviewing grants offered in the above areas.
THIS SENIOR STAFF PERSON WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, WHO IS ALSO THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE FOUNDATION’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
Required Professional Abilities and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of administrative experience and skills in supervising the work of AN ACCOMPLISHED HIGH LEVEL administrative and educational staff AS PROGRAM DIRECTORS LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN ISRAEL
- Minimum of five years of experience in the field of Jewish and/or general education.
- A basic understanding of budgeting and assessment of educational programs and interventions.
- A basic knowledge of Jewish tradition and observance.
- Knowledge of software used for grants management (a strong plus)
- Knowledge of not-for-profit best practices.
- ABILITY TO BUILD A STRONG COOPERATIVE TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS
Education:
This position could be filled with some combination of the following professional degrees:
- An MBA in business and management
- A JD with administrative experience
- MA or PHD in education, with experience in school administration and/or supervision
This is a full-time, hybrid (3-days/week in office) position with outstanding benefits.

Annual Salary is $200,000 + and commensurate with experience.
